Default You gotta love the WoW crowd...

I mean, you just gotta.

(Some guy dies in real life, and his guild decides to have a memorial service for him in-game. A griefer guild decides to gank them for fun.
The video is extremely poorly edited, and the graphics stutter badly during the attack.)

I sort of liked it. Especially the song choice.

The song choice was perfect.
I commend the guy who edited the video. It was really well made.

I also wonder what video editor he/she was using.

Anyone got a high quality version of this?

Anyone wonder who buys wholesale lives by the million and resells them to people who do things that are productive towards the society that does not exist in "black boar mountain" or whatever they call that place *names random WoW town he heard of once*

Sigh, as well to me it was hiralous. Solemn event, but funny to see the infernals running around and the guys fleeing in the sea while swimming and being picked off one by one.

I don't know if a funeral was really appropriate to a game. I know it pays respect but do it in another way, such as sending the guy's family emails or letters of sympothy and stuff like that, not getting together in a video game and doing emotes to pretend its reality... Same for weddings, that's just losing sight of reality right there /=p

Yeah that's a dick move. Granted, it's a well made video with good music, but yeah... totally unnecessary.

"Sorry for your loss. Yes we know we are assholes "

No man... that doesn't cut it.

While I agree that it was a pretty messed up thing to do, they were practically asking to get the funeral event crashed. They decided to have the funeral in a contested zone on a PVP server. In addition, they let the whole entire server know via the official forum server boards. Considering how much griefing goes on every day in PVP servers I can't say I was shocked on learning the outcome.
